After that, you should pay for the delivery and wait for it to arrive in the country of destination. This approach will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of biomaterials abroad for further research or analysis.

I created a request on the website and want to pay. How do I do it?

If you are 100% sure of the size and weight of your shipment, you can pay either via the link on the website (or we can manually generate a link) or via an invoice generated by the accounting department (for legal entities). However, it is better that we receive the parcel in the office, measure it, weigh it, and generate a correct invoice for payment.

What is the cost of shipping biomaterials abroad from Ukraine?

The cost of delivery depends on the delivery conditions, speed and country of destination. Our specialists calculate each case individually, taking into account your needs and providing the best delivery options. We strive to provide maximum convenience and efficiency in every delivery.

How to place an order on the website?

You will need to provide the sender's and recipient's details, choose the type of your shipment (package or documents), select the appropriate rate, and then choose a convenient method to deliver your shipment to us.

How to properly pack biomaterials for delivery abroad?

The responsibility for packaging biomaterials for medical diagnostics lies with the sender. Our service always repackages the shipment in an international standard medical package to avoid contact of the biospecimens with the environment. However, the sample must be hermetically packed in the original container to be handed over to the courier. Swabs (glass) should be packed in a box lined with cotton wool for additional protection. The tubes are placed in an outer container equipped with a soft gasket inside. Tight closure of the tubes is necessary to avoid leakage or damage to the material. DNA test sticks should be hermetically sealed in plastic containers or tubes. Saliva or urine should be packed in an airtight container. If biospecimens need to be stored at a specific temperature, the container with the specimen should be placed in a container with a refrigerant and packed in an outer sealed heat-resistant container. For shipment of biospecimens with a temperature regime from the regions, additional cooling with a refrigerant may be required before shipment abroad. Ensuring the correct packaging of biospecimens for international shipping is critical, and following all guidelines will ensure that the quality and integrity of the specimens are maintained during transportation.

How to send a DNA test abroad?

Shipping DNA tests requires special precautions. When packing DNA swab sticks, envelopes should be used, placing up to 20 envelopes in one medical package. Blood tubes for DNA tests are handed over to the courier in a box. In case of mass shipment of tests, each of them should be clearly labeled for identification. Prepare all necessary documents, including documents for the recipient's laboratory. Use an airtight medical container or suitable container for packaging. Each test must be separately and unambiguously labeled inside the package. It is important to follow all guidelines and requirements when sending DNA tests abroad to ensure their integrity and reliability of results.

What types of tests can be sent abroad via GlobalPost?

Tests that can be sent abroad through GlobalPost include clinical blood, urine, fecal, biopsy tubes, genetic tests, biochemical tests, immunological tests, and other types of laboratory tests that are required for medical or scientific purposes.

What biomaterials cannot be sent abroad from Ukraine?

Biomaterials that cannot be sent abroad from Ukraine: infectious biomaterials (biomaterials containing infectious agents or materials that may pose a threat to human or animal health), unpackaged unlabeled biomaterials (biomaterials that have not been properly packaged or are not clearly labeled), biomaterials with embryos, eggs and sperm (biomaterials that may have hereditary consequences, such as eggs, sperm and embryos), biomaterials with a strict temperature regime (materials (materials that require a certain temperature regime for storage and transportation), biomaterials with contagious diseases (biomaterials that are specifically contaminated with contagious diseases that are transmitted by contact), open packaged biomaterials (biomaterials that are sent for analysis in an open packaged form, which can lead to the spread of diseases or lead to infection of courier or customs officers). These restrictions are designed to ensure safety during transportation and handling of biomaterials.

To which countries can biomaterials be shipped and to which not?

Destinations for sending biospecimens may be limited by various regulations and restrictions. Some countries, such as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Turkey, accept biospecimens for analysis. However, there are countries that are prohibited from importing biomaterials, such as the Customs Union countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Belarus. In some countries, such as Turkey, biomaterials can only be obtained by a person with a medical license. Some countries, such as Germany, may have restrictions on the importation of animal biomaterials. It is recommended to coordinate the recipient's participation in the customs procedures of the destination country before sending biomaterials abroad. These guidelines should be taken into account when choosing a country to ship biospecimens to, as rules and restrictions may vary depending on the specific requirements and policies of each country.

Is it possible to transport dry ice abroad?

Yes. The transportation of dry ice abroad may require some specific requirements and procedures, as it is a material that has potential hazards due to its properties. Also, transportation of dry ice abroad may require certain documentation, such as customs declaration, special permits or safety certificates. Dry ice packaging must be properly designed and executed, taking into account its characteristics and potential risks. To ensure safety during transportation, special containers or thermal insulation materials can be used to keep the temperature low and prevent CO2 from evaporating. In addition, the packaging must be strong and reliable to avoid damage during transportation and to separate the dry ice from other cargo. This approach ensures the safe and efficient delivery of dry ice outside the country.

Do you use dry ice in the delivery of biological samples in thermoboxes?

Currently, we can deliver biological samples in thermoboxes with or without dry ice.

What is the role of dry ice in the delivery of analytes?

Dry ice plays a key role in the delivery of analytes as it ensures low temperatures during transportation. This helps to maintain the stability and quality of the biomaterials being analyzed, preventing them from being destroyed or altered by high temperatures during transportation. Thus, dry ice allows for the safe and efficient delivery of analytes to laboratories or medical facilities for further testing.

How can I track the delivery of biomaterial to a laboratory in Europe?

Globalpost provides transparent tracking. You can always track your parcel, cargo, or documents sent from Ukraine on our website. To do this, visit the GlobalPost website and enter your parcel number in the tracking field. We offer our clients the ability to track their shipments in real-time.

We are ready to cooperate with Ukrainian laboratories and medical institutions to ensure fast delivery of tests abroad.

Can there be any problems with customs services when delivering tests to the United States?

Yes, there may be issues with customs when shipping assays to the United States, especially if they contain materials or substances that are subject to special customs controls or restrictions. For example, some assays may contain biological substances that require a special customs declaration or permit to be imported into the country. There may also be problems with customs formalities due to improper execution of the customs declaration or other necessary documents. Therefore, it is important to comply with all the requirements and rules of customs clearance, as well as to obtain the necessary permits and documents in time for successful customs clearance.
