What you need to know before shipping
UPS operates in over 220 countries. Standard service covers all of Europe (26 EU countries + the UK). Expedited and Express Saver services cover the entire world. We ship from any city in Ukraine via GlobalPost. The hub is in Poland, after which the package enters the UPS network.
Every shipment receives a UPS tracking number. You can track your shipment at ups.com or in your GlobalPost account. The status is updated at every stage of the route: pickup, sorting, customs, last mile, and delivery.
Up to 70 kg per item. Maximum length: 274 cm. Length + circumference: up to 400 cm. Anything larger can be shipped as a Large Package (up to 40 kg with an additional fee) or arranged on a case-by-case basis. Documents, clothing, electronics, spare parts, samples—all standard items are accepted without restrictions.
The following are required for shipment: a waybill, a commercial invoice with a description of the contents, and an export declaration. Certificates, licenses, and phytosanitary documents are required if specified by the destination country. GlobalPost managers will assist you in compiling the necessary documentation for your specific shipment.

What types of shipments UPS handles
UPS delivery service works with three categories. Documents – a UPS Express Envelope up to 0.5 kg, with no customs clearance required. Parcels – from 0.5 to 70 kg in standard or custom packaging, maximum single piece length 274 cm. Freight – from 70 kg and above: pallets, industrial batches, equipment – quoted individually.
Documentation – contracts, notarial acts, apostilles, passports – goes as an envelope and does not undergo customs clearance. The envelope is X-ray scanned in the transit zone but is not declared as cargo. Insurance is an option when placing the order. For parcels and freight, an invoice, packing list, and HS codes are required. International postal shipments via UPS combine the speed of air transport with ground logistics for the last mile.
Delivery geography: which countries are covered
UPS delivery service covers all economically active regions. Distance, weight, and dimensions determine the price and timeframe. UPS express delivery within the EU takes 2-4 business days, transatlantic routes – 3-5 days, Middle East and Asia – 4-7 days.
UPS has three product lines: Express Saver (priority, 1-3 days within the EU), Expedited (economy express), Standard/Ground (ground shipping across Europe). UPS delivery to Ukraine: imports from the EU, USA, and Asia
The service works in the reverse direction too. A request is placed on the GlobalPost website or via any messenger, a UPS courier picks up the shipment at the sender’s address abroad. After arrival in Ukraine and customs clearance (if required), we deliver to Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, and any other city. Payment is handled by the sender or recipient – as agreed.
UPS Ukraine is a request that most often comes from E-Com buyers and companies receiving components, samples, and press materials from the USA, Germany, the UK, China, and South Korea.
