Delivery of ingredients for borscht from Kyiv to Japan. An example of a unique shipment successfully completed by the GlobalPost team.
A client contacted us with a request to deliver ingredients for preparing Ukrainian borscht — from chef Yevhen Klopotenko for the President of Japan.
The shipment was carried out as part of the Soul & Soil event organized by UNDP, which brought together world leaders in support of Ukraine. During the event, Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko held a master class on preparing traditional Ukrainian dishes using products grown on demined land.
The delivery took 6 days, and the shipment arrived in Japan in excellent condition, allowing the culinary part of the event to take place successfully.
