What you need to know before departure
FedEx delivers to over 220 countries. Through GlobalPost—from any city in Ukraine, not just Kyiv. FedEx’s main hubs in Eastern Europe are Warsaw and Katowice. Daily flights from Ukraine.
Every shipment is assigned a 12-digit FedEx tracking number. Track your shipment at fedex.com or in your GlobalPost account. Status updates are provided at every stage: pickup, sorting, customs, and delivery.
From 0.5 kg to 70 kg per package. Length + girth: up to 300 cm. Shipments weighing over 70 kg are calculated on a case-by-case basis. FedEx accepts documents, clothing, samples, spare parts, electronics, and food products (subject to certain conditions).
To ship your items, you will need: a waybill, an invoice listing the contents, and an export declaration. Certificates and licenses are required if necessary. GlobalPost managers will help you fill out all the necessary paperwork correctly.

Why FedEx delivery matters for business and private shipments
FedEx is one of the three largest courier networks in the world and delivers to 200+ countries. For a Ukrainian company, fedex international shipping means access to export markets through a single carrier linehaul: the largest cargo aircraft fleet, hubs in Memphis, Paris and Guangzhou, a ground network across the EU and US. Through the GlobalPost aggregator the shipment is booked at a wholesale rate – on average 50-70 % below the direct carrier tariff.
Contract paperwork, parcels, e-commerce shipments, pallets and oversized cargo – everything moves along one route, under one tracking number and one carrier liability. FedEx services fit both an e-com seller with a dozen orders a day and a manufacturer who needs to ship equipment to an exhibition in Dubai.
What can be sent with FedEx
Original military IDs and cargo restricted from export by Ukrainian law cannot be shipped. Insurance is an optional add-on, booked at the request stage through GlobalPost. Maximum compensation per envelope is UAH 10 000 regardless of the actual contents value. The network runs in practically every economically active country except sanctioned ones. Country, weight and dimensions directly affect transit time and price: fedex delivery economy within the EU takes 3-4 business days, transatlantic routes on International Priority – 5-7 days, Middle East and Asia – 5-8 days. Fedex shipping cost is calculated by weight, dimensions and destination country. Through GlobalPost the rate is visible in the on-site calculator immediately, without waiting for a manager. Indicative prices for shipping documents and parcels from Ukraine: Our specialists can help prepare the export customs declaration or advise the client on any question related to the shipment: invoice, packing list, HS codes and other documents. Inbound to Ukraine works under the same scheme in reverse.
