Delivery of a large model ship from Ukraine to the USA
GlobalPost has experience in the logistics of unique cargo. One of our cases is the delivery of a large-scale model ship from Ukraine to the USA.
A client contacted us with a request for the safe delivery of a handcrafted model of a historic sailing ship from Kramatorsk to the USA. The item was bulky, fragile, and had a complex shape — standard packaging was not suitable.
We provided several logistics options, and the client chose the one that was optimal in terms of timing and budget.
The case dimensions exceeded 130×40 cm, so we manufactured a sturdy wooden crate with internal fixation of the model and full perimeter protection.
The delivery took 9 days (from pickup to receipt).
